BUK update on hostel allocation for 2025/2026 Session

The Deanery of Student Affairs, Bayero University, Kano (BUK), has announced that preparations for hostel allocation for the 2025/2026 academic session are currently ongoing.

In a notice dated 24 February 2026, the university informed students that the hostel allocation process has not yet commenced and urged them to disregard any information or application procedures circulating through individuals or business centres (cafés), as such sources are not authorised.

The Deanery assured students that an official statement containing full details and guidelines for the hostel allocation will be released once preparations are completed. Students are therefore advised to remain patient and await the official announcement from the university.
