Candidates Caught in Malpractice Will be Banned From Writing Future Exams - WAEC

Report has it that at the end of the 57th NEC meeting of WAEC held in Lagos recently, a communiqué was released which stated that the board has reached an agreement that anyone caught in examination malpractice in any of its exams will be banned for some years from writing the annual Exams conducted by the board.

According to the communiqué also the board has also endorsed appropriate sanctions in all established cases of malpractice as prescribed by the rules and regulations governing the conduct of the council’s examinations after diligent deliberations.

It approved that the entire results of candidates involved in proven cases which attract cancellation of subject results will also be cancelled.
