CBT Will Curb Exam Malpractice - JAMB Coordinator

Temiloluwa 2 years ago

Speaking after the 2014 UTME, the southwest Zonal Coordinator of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Mrs Sade Gbolayemi, said that the newly introduced CBT would encourage candidates to study harder and curb exam malpractice.

According to her, there were 74 PPT centres in Oyo State and only 5 centres for CBT.

She further added that the CBT system needs no serious computer literacy to write the examination, candidates only need basic computer knowledge.

JAMB has said it will scrap off PPT and DBT by 2015 leaving only CBT. How well candidates will fare in JAMB exams with the full introduction of CBT, only time will tell.
