College of Education and Legal Studies, Nguru 2026 TRCN Professional Qualifying exam registration

The College of Education and Legal Studies, P.M.B. 021, Gashua Road, Nguru, Yobe State, through the Office of the Registrar, has announced the sale of application forms for the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE).

In a statement made available to the public, the College disclosed that the examination will be conducted in January 2026 in collaboration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). The exercise is aimed at ensuring excellence and professionalism among teachers at all levels through effective registration and licensing, promotion of continuing professional development, maintenance of discipline, and the overall renaissance of the teaching profession in Yobe State and beyond.

Eligibility and Registration Fees

Holders of Ph.D Certificate – ₦10,500

Holders of Master’s Degree – ₦8,500

Holders of Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) – ₦6,500

Holders of Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) – ₦6,500

Holders of Bachelor’s Degree – ₦6,500

Holders of NCE – ₦5,500

NCE II Students – ₦5,500

Method of Application and Payment

Interested candidates are to pay the appropriate registration fee to the College TRCN Desk Office upon presentation of payment evidence. Payments should be made to the following bank details:
