FUTA receives COMEG full accreditation on related programmes

Five Departments in the School of Earth and Mineral Sciences of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA have been granted full accreditation status effective 1st January, 2022 to December 2025 by the Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG).

 COMEG is the regulatory body for all professionals and firms in the Geosciences, Mining Engineering and Metallurgy sectors in Nigeria.

B. Tech. Applied Geology, B. Tech. Applied Geophysics, B. Tech. Marine Science and Technology, B. Tech. Remote Sensing and Geoscience and B. Eng. Mining Engineering got the all clear signal from COMEG  

The certificates for the five programmes duly signed by officials of COMEG have been conveyed to the Vice Chancellor Professor Adenike Oladiji.
