Covenant university react to transcript controversy

Following a viral video footage of a graduate of covenant university accusing the institution of purposely withholding her transcript, the President of the alumni association has reacted to the allegation, calling it one-sided and untrue.

According to a statement released on Wednesday 16 December, it was revealed that an initial transcript request and payment from the ex-student was first initiated on 10th September 2020, and not in July as alleged by the student.

The transcript was also physically delivered to her on 25th September 2020, and on 26th October 2020, a follow-on request from the applicant was received, and she was advised on 27th October 2020 on the documents required to fulfil that request. On 9th November 2020, she made a separate payment for the other documents, which contradicts her earlier claims of paying twice for the transcript.
