David Umahi University of Med. Sciences Post-UTME 2025: Cut-off, Eligibility & Registration Details

David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences (DUFUHS) Uburu, Ebonyi State, is an Ultra-modern 21st century state of the art international University of Health Sciences located at Uburu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. The University has the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run seventeen (17) degree programmes in various faculties.

Consequently, the University wishes to announce to the general public that admission for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has commenced into the following programmes:

1. Medicine & Surgery (MBBS)

2. Pharmacy (Pharm D)

3. Nursing Science (BNS.)

4. Medical Laboratory Science (MLS.)

5. Physiotherapy (DPT)

6. Biomedical Engineering (B.Eng.)

7. Radiography & Radiation Sciences (BSc)

8. Optometry (DO)

9. Computer Science (B. Sc.)

QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION

To qualify for admission into any of the programmes, candidates MUST make the University their first choice in JAMB. Such candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO or its equivalents. He/she must have sat and obtained a minimum score of 150 in the 2025 JAMB.

Other qualified candidates who did not make the University their first choice but scored 150 and above in JAMB are further encouraged to do change of institution on JAMB Portal to make the University their first choice, and apply for admissions.

Candidates who did not write JAMB at all but wishes to study in the University can apply into the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme of the University. The IJMB programme is for a period of one year, after which, the candidate can be admitted directly into 200 level without writing JAMB.

The University also accept students from other accredited universities who wishes to transfer from their current universities to our university. Such a student must have completed one academic session from his/her current university with evidence of JAMB admission letter and official academic transcript indicating that such a student is in good academic standing.

MODE OF REGISTRATION/PAYMENT

Candidates are required to visit application website: www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng. and follow the procedure to obtain admission form after making a payment of ten thousand naira (₦10,000) only through the Remita payment platform.
