DELSU announces one week postponement of 2024/2025 SUG election

Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has officially postponed the 2024/2025 Students’ Union Government (SUG) election by one week. The announcement was made through an internal memorandum issued on November 26, 2025, by the Deputy Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Israel Odede.

According to the memo, the election—initially scheduled for Friday, November 28—has been shifted to allow for better preparation and to ensure a smooth and credible electoral process.

The Students’ Affairs Division urged all students to take note of the revised dates and reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent, credible, and peaceful election.
