DELSU notice on CES 311 registration for 2nd semester, 2025/2026
Students in specific faculties at Delta State University, Abraka, are now required to register for the compulsory skill acquisition course, CES 311 (Skill Acquisition), for the second semester of the 2025/2026 session.
In an internal memorandum dated February 2026, the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies, Professor Onoriode O. Emoyan, announced that registration is now open for eligible students. The directive specifically targets 300-level students, as well as 400-level students who are yet to take the course, from the Faculties of Education, Science, Basic Medical Science, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, Engineering, and Law.
According to the memo, these faculties are scheduled for their training in the second semester, following the approved institutional schedule. Students from other faculties who were unable to participate in the first semester training are also encouraged to take advantage of this second semester window to complete the requirement.
The registration process requires students to visit the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies to select from the available skill options, indicating their preferences. The Centre noted that this collation is essential to finalize logistics and commence training for the second semester.
The university has set a firm deadline for the exercise. All affected students are advised to complete their registration on or before 27th March, 2026.
The memorandum has been distributed to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Deans, Heads of Department, and the Student Union Government for wider dissemination. Students are urged to check departmental notice boards for further details.
