Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro issues notice on immunization of staff and students

The Delta State Polytechnic has issued a bulletin to staff and students on the need for them to avail themselves for the immunization exercise being carried out by the state government. See details;

This is to inform the Polytechnic community, staff and students that the Rector, Prof Akpodiete O.J. in keeping with the immunization exercise by the Delta State Primary Health Care Development Agency has advised staff and students to avail themselves the opportunity provided by the state government to participate in the current immunization exercise.

According to the directive of the agency, the exercise is for those from the ages of 9 months to 44years, adding that the immunization is to prevent children and adults from contracting the "yellow fever" disease which has become endemic and deadly in recent times.

Consequently, those within the age bracket should make themselves available and be immunized for stable health and good living.
