Dominican University holds 9th matriculation ceremony

Dominican University, Ibadan has announced plans to hold its 9th Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the DU Multi-Purpose Hall, Dominican University, Ibadan, with proceedings set to begin by 10:00 a.m.

According to the announcement, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jacinta A. Opara, FASI, FBQS, FCIP, FCIA, FIMC, on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Senate, and the entire university community, has cordially invited the public to witness the formal induction of fresh students into the university.

The matriculation lecture will be delivered by Dr. Obi Ozor, Founder of Kobo360 and Honourable Commissioner for Transportation, Enugu State.

The event marks another milestone in the university’s academic calendar and underscores its commitment to academic excellence and character formation.
