UNIOFFA announces Dr. Emmanuel Oyewole Lambe as Sub-Dean, Faculty of Mgt & Social Sciences

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Offa (UNIOFFA), Professor Kazeem Alagbe Gbolagade, has officially approved the appointment of Dr. Emmanuel Oyewole Lambe, PhD, MNIAA, MCPA, as the Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences.

Dr. Lambe is a distinguished political scientist whose expertise encompasses security governance, political economy, and public policy analysis across the African continent. His appointment marks a significant addition to the faculty's leadership team.

Dr. Lambe’s robust academic foundation was built at Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, where he earned his Ph.D. in Political Science, an M.A. in International Relations and Strategic Studies, and a B.Sc. in Political Science. He completed his foundational secondary education at Medias College in Alimosho, Lagos State.

His commitment to professional excellence is further evidenced by his memberships in prestigious bodies, including:

• The Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA)
• The Chartered Institute of Public Administrators and Local Government

Currently a Lecturer in Political Science at UNIOFFA, Dr. Lambe has a versatile teaching history. He has previously held academic positions at Ahman Pategi University, Newland Polytechnic, and Kwara State University. His leadership roles have included serving as Departmental Secretary, Project Coordinator, and External Manuscript Reviewer.

His research portfolio is extensive, focusing on critical issues such as:

• Security governance and conflict management
• State legitimacy in Africa
• Democratic accountability
• Ethical AI implementation in academic research (supported by a 2026 RUDN International Scholarship)

As a dedicated educator, Dr. Lambe has taught a diverse array of courses, ranging from Nigerian Foreign Policy and National Security and Strategic Studies to Comparative Public Administration and Political Behaviour.
