EBSU SUG notice on resolution of missing information on NELFUND portal

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Ebonyi State University (EBSU), through the Office of the Financial Secretary, has issued a notice addressing concerns over missing information on the NELFUND portal.

In a statement dated February 26, 2026, the SUG Financial Secretary, Comr. Michael Enyire, informed students experiencing missing details on their NELFUND profiles that they can now proceed directly to the Perm Site (Admission Office – HOD’s Office) for incorporation. The directive, based on guidance from the NELFUND Liaison Officer, is aimed at ensuring faster resolution of the issue.

According to the statement, the move will enable all eligible students to apply promptly without hesitation or restrictions. The union acknowledged that the portal challenges have affected many students’ ability to pay school fees and complete other essential academic processes.

The Financial Secretary further disclosed plans to visit the NELFUND office and promised to provide feedback on the outcome of discussions by the evening.
