EKSU Pre-degree and JUPEB admissions, 2025/2026
The Centre for Foundation Programmes (CFFP) has commenced admissions into Pre-Degree and JUPEB Programmes of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. Applicants without UTME qualifications seeking admission into the University can explore the available opportunities as follows:
a. One-year Pre-Degree education for entry into 100 Level in the University, or
b. One-year JUPEB Programme for entry into 200 Level in the University.
Key Features of Admissions into the Pre-Degree and JUPEB Programmes
Purpose and Duration:
The Centre prepares candidates for admission into undergraduate classes after completing Pre-Degree or JUPEB programmes and passing their required examinations with JAMB registration.
Entry Requirements and Available Courses:
Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE OβLevel in relevant subjects (not more than two sittings). The programme offers courses in:

Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (Agricultural Economics and Extension Services, Animal Production and Health Sciences, Crop, Horticultural and Landscape Sciences, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Hospitality and Tourism, Soil and Land Resources Management).

Faculty of Arts (English, Religious Studies, Philosophy, History and International Studies, Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, Theatre and Media Arts).

Faculty of Management Sciences (Accounting, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Actuarial Science, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Entrepreneurship Studies, Insurance, Cooperative Studies, Marketing).

Faculty of Science (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Geophysics, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Plant Science and Biotechnology, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Zoology, Science Laboratory Technology).

Faculty of the Social Sciences (Economics, Geography and Planning Science, Tourism Studies, Environmental Management, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology).

Faculty of Multidisciplinary Studies (Gender Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies).

College of Medicine (Anatomy, Physiology, Nursing Science, Medicine and Surgery) (based on quota and passes).
Benefits and Learning Environment:
Students are admitted into their levels and chosen degree programmes upon successful completion of the academic session, provided they obtained JAMB. Students will access lecture rooms, hostel accommodation, library facilities, and participate in community service during the period of study taught by experienced Academic Staff. All successful candidates in the Pre-Degree and JUPEB Programmes will be admitted into the regular programmes upon meeting admission requirements.

Candidates should apply on the University portal: eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng by clicking PRE-DEGREE or JUPEB (whichever is applicable) to make payment and upload data online. Online application requires using a card for payment and admission processes. Applicants should log in with their email and password for data entry, payment, and upload in the βApplication Formβ for submission.
