EKSU SUG notice regarding robbery attacks on hostels

The Student Union strongly condemns the incessant robbery attacks on students' hostels at Phase 2. The union deeply concerned and saddened by these repeated security breaches that have continued to threaten the safety, peace of mind, and academic performance of our students. No student deserves to live in fear of robbery while pursuing their education.

The SUG assures all affected students and the entire student body that the Student Union is actively working on this matter. We have already engaged the university management, security agencies, and relevant authorities to:

- Strengthen security presence around scholl area

- Improve lighting and surveillance in the area

- Enhance patrol and response systems

- Identify and address the root causes of these incidents

We are committed to ensuring that concrete and sustainable measures are put in place to bring these attacks to an immediate end. Your safety remains our top priority.

We urge all students to remain vigilant, report any suspicious activities promptly to the Student Union or security personnel, and avoid moving alone at night until normalcy is fully restored.

Together, we will overcome this challenge. The Student Union stands with every student in the university and will not rest until safety is guaranteed.
