The Student Union Government (SUG) of Ekiti State University (EKSU) has announced the immediate suspension of all activities, operations, meetings, promotions and programmes of NEOLIFE and its affiliate group, Faitheoric Global (FHG), within the university community.

The directive, which takes effect from Wednesday, February 11, 2026, was contained in an official memo issued by the SUG to the student body.

According to the union, the decision followed β€œcareful observation and multiple reports” concerning the activities of the groups on campus.

The SUG stated that evidence gathered indicated that the operations of NEOLIFE and FHG had allegedly impacted students’ academic focus, mental well-being and financial stability. The memo cited persistent recruitment drives, unregulated meetings held at odd hours, and reported pressure on students to prioritise business engagements over their studies as key concerns.

The union emphasised that the action was taken in line with its mandate to safeguard student welfare and uphold academic integrity within the institution.

Students were consequently advised to refrain from participating in or promoting any NEOLIFE-related activities within the university premises until further notice.

The SUG warned that any student found violating the directive would face appropriate sanctions.
