Elizade university bars pregnant students from campus

The Vice-Chancellor of Elizade University, Prof. Olukayode Amund, read the riot act while addressing students of the institution, stating that female students should desist from getting pregnant while they are students at the schools, as pregnant students will not be allowed on campus.

Prof. Amund explained that the university hostels have no care facilities for expectant mothers and would not entertain pregnant students within the school premises.

He also urged the students to shun all forms of examination malpractices and other acts of misconduct as the university has zero tolerance for cultism, gangsterism, physical violence, drug abuse, stealing and indecent dressing.

He added that the students’ handbook is currently under review to spell out the rules of engagement on campus, of which violation will attract appropriate sanctions.
