Ecclesian Theological University appoints Dr. David Ideele as Rivers State Coordinator

Ecclesian Theological University has officially announced the appointment of Dr. David Dumlumene Ideele as the State Coordinator for Rivers State within the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria.

The appointment, dated March 24, 2026, recognizes Dr. Ideele’s demonstrated commitment to leadership, academic excellence, and dedication to advancing theological education and Christian service.

According to the University, the newly appointed State Coordinator will play a key role in expanding its vision, mission, and outreach across Rivers State. His responsibilities include representing the institution within the state, promoting academic programs, facilitating student recruitment and mentorship, organizing seminars and outreach initiatives, and liaising with the University’s management on developmental matters.

The institution emphasized that the appointment takes effect upon acceptance and will remain valid based on satisfactory performance and adherence to the University’s policies. Dr. Ideele is also expected to align with the core values of integrity, diligence, and excellence upheld by the University.

The letter was endorsed by Professor Bright Osazuwa, Vice-Chancellor, alongside Dr. Benson J. O., and Major John Yakubu.

The University congratulated Dr. Ideele on his appointment and expressed confidence in his capacity to contribute meaningfully to its growth and advancement.
