The Federal Government has announced the appointment of Ambassador Dr. (Mrs.) Nimota Nihinlola Akanbi as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairperson of the Governing Council for the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo.

She previously served as the Nigerian Ambassador to the Netherlands, where she was recognized for strengthening bilateral ties and navigating complex international relations.

​Chairperson of the Governing Council: Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi.
