Federal College of Horticulture Dadin-Kowa Academic Calendar, 2025/2026

The Academic Matters Division of the Federal College of Horticulture, Dadin-Kowa, Gombe State, has officially released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session.

First Semester

Students’ registration will run from 12th to 30th January, 2026, while lectures are scheduled to commence on 19th January, 2026. Late registration is slated for 2nd – 7th February, 2026.

Departmental orientation will take place between 9th and 20th February, 2026, followed by general orientation on 23rd – 24th April, 2026. The matriculation ceremony is fixed for 25th April, 2026.

Lectures for the first semester will end on 30th April, 2026, with revision week holding from 4th – 8th May, 2026. First semester examinations are scheduled for 11th – 23rd May, 2026, while the semester break will run from 25th May to 5th June, 2026.

Second Semester

Registration for the second semester will take place from 8th – 26th June, 2026, with lectures commencing on 8th June, 2026. Consideration of first semester results is scheduled for 24th June, 2026.

Lectures will end on 28th August, 2026, followed by revision from 31st August – 4th September, 2026. Second semester examinations will hold between 7th and 19th September, 2026.

Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is slated for 21st September, 2026, while consideration of second semester results will take place on 18th November, 2026.
