Federal Poly Bauchi upgrade programme for ND & HND graduates

The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, has officially opened applications for its 2025/2026 session Upgrade Programme. This initiative is designed for former graduates who achieved a Pass classification in either their National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) from the institution.

The programme was established in response to community demand. It enables alumni to enhance their academic qualifications by upgrading their pass-level results to meet the Polytechnic's approved standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

Prospective applicants must have graduated with a Pass result in an ND or HND from the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi. Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O'Level credits in relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings.

Programme Structure:

The upgrade course will span one academic session, divided into two semesters. Lectures will be delivered through a blended format, combining physical classroom sessions with online learning via approved digital platforms.

How to Apply:

Interested candidates are required to:

1. Visit the Polytechnic’s portal at https://portal.fptb.edu.ng.

2. Click on "ONLINE ADMISSION," enter their details, and generate a payment slip (RRR).

3. Pay a non-refundable application fee of Six Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N6,500) at any bank.

4. Return to the portal to complete the application using the assigned Application Number and registered phone number.

Application Deadline:

All applications must be submitted online within six (6) weeks from the date of the advertisement’s publication.
