The Federal Polytechnic, Idah, has announced the commencement of the final registration and documentation exercise for all National Diploma I (ND I) and Higher National Diploma I (HND I) students for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

According to an internal memo issued by the Deputy Registrar (Admissions), the final registration/documentation exercise will begin on Monday, January 19, 2026, and end on Friday, February 6, 2026.

All affected students are required to report to the New Convocation Square for the documentation exercise between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily within the stipulated period. The institution emphasized that students who fail to complete the final documentation will be regarded as not fully registered.

The Polytechnic further stressed the importance of the exercise, urging students to take it seriously. Any student who fails to meet the registration deadline will be required to pay a late registration surcharge of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00).

Heads of Academic Departments have been directed to ensure that the contents of the memo are adequately communicated to all affected students for strict compliance.

The notice was signed by S. Idegwu, Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Admissions), on behalf of the Registrar.

Copies of the memo have been circulated to principal officers of the institution, including the Rector, Deputy Rectors, Registrar, Bursar, Polytechnic Librarian, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and posted on all official notice boards.
