Fed Polytechnic Nek postpones 48th matriculation ceremony, orientation programme

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, has officially announced the postponement of the 48th Matriculation Ceremony earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, 26th February 2026.

The announcement was made in a press release issued through the Office of the SUG Directorate of Publicity/PRO/Media for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

According to the statement, the Orientation Programme for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has also been postponed until further notice.

The union assured members of the Polytechnic community that new dates for both the Matriculation Ceremony and the Orientation Programme will be communicated in due course.

The SUG expressed regret over any inconveniences the postponement may cause and urged all students and staff to remain attentive to subsequent updates.
