Federal Polytechnic, Oko Job advertisement for the position of Director of Medical Services

Federal Polytechnic Oko, a leading institution in Nigeria renowned for academic excellence, innovation, and hands-on skill development, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Director, Medical Services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Taking overall charge of the Medical Centre.
• Reporting to the Rector for the smooth running of the Medical Centre.
• Coordinating the work and activities of subordinate staff at the Medical Centre.
• Performing other duties as may be assigned by the Rector.

Qualifications and Experience

• An MBBS from a recognized institution and must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• 15 years post-qualification cognate experience OR a candidate with post-graduate medical qualification in medicine with at least 12 years post-qualification cognate experience.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
• Must present a current practicing license.
• Must be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant.
• Must not be more than 55 years of age at the time of assuming duty.

Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service

• Tenure: 5 years (single tenure).
• Conditions of Service: As applicable in all other Federal Polytechnics.
• Salary Grade: CONMESS 7.
