Federal Polytechnic, Ukana and orientation for ND and HND students

The School of Applied Science at the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana has announced the date for its orientation programme for newly admitted National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students.

In a circular signed by the Dean of the School of Applied Sciences, Dr. Ekemini A. Johnson, the orientation exercise is scheduled to hold on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the 250 Capacity Building, with activities beginning at 12:00 noon.

The Dean stated that the event—approved by the Rector—is mandatory for all new students. Both staff and students are expected to be seated before the commencement of the programme. He explained that the orientation is vital in helping students adjust to the academic environment and familiarize themselves with institutional policies.

Dr. Johnson also urged full cooperation from staff and students to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the exercise.
