The School of Postgraduate Studies at Federal University Gashua (FU Gashua) is officially inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Faculty of Management and Social Sciences

• Department of Accountancy: M.Sc. and Ph.D. Accounting, M.Sc. and Ph.D. Taxation, PGD in Accounting
• Department of Economics and Development Studies: M.Sc. and Ph.D. Economics, PGD in Economics
• Department of Geography: M.Sc. and Ph.D. Geography, PGD in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Department of Public Administration: M.Sc. and Ph.D. Public Administration, Master of Public Administration (MPA), PGD in Public Administration

Faculty of Science

• Department of Chemistry: M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Analytical Chemistry), M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Polymer Chemistry), PGD in Chemistry

Application Fees

• Ph.D: ₦25,000
• M.Sc: ₦20,000
• Professional Masters: ₦20,000
• Postgraduate Diploma (PGD): ₦10,000

Guidelines for Application

1. Visit the portal at: https://applicant.safapply.com/fuga
2. Select your desired course from the list (use the filter box for easy navigation).
3. Click "More Information" to view specific course requirements, then click "Apply."
4. Log in or register using a Google account.
5. Once logged in, click "Proceed to Application Form" to generate a payment invoice for the non-refundable fee.
6. Follow the payment instructions on the page. Once successful, you will gain access to the application form.
7. Complete the form, preview your entries, and click "Submit." (You can use the "Update Form" button to make changes before final submission).
8. Important: Request your previous institutions to send academic transcripts directly to: [email protected] before the closing date.

Important Notices

• Eligibility: Candidates awaiting results or those who have not completed the NYSC programme are not eligible to apply.
• Document Policy: Do not upload statements of result.
• Liability: The University will not be liable for mistakes arising from erroneous applications.
