Federal University Gashua to Host 1st Inaugural Lecture

The Federal University Gashua (FUGA), Yobe State, has announced its 1st Inaugural Lecture, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at the 1000 Capacity Lecture Hall within the University.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Maimuna Waziri, FCSN, FICCON, on behalf of the entire University community, extends a cordial invitation to members of the public, the academic community, and other stakeholders to attend this landmark academic event.

“Academic Inputs into Bequeathing a Sustainable Environment for Nigerians: My Efforts, Challenges and the Journey So Far.”

The Chairman of the occasion is Professor Shehu Abdul-Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Lafiya, Nasarawa State.

The lecture will be presented by Professor Maimuna Waziri, Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Gashua, Yobe State.
