Federal University of Health Science, Azare announces midterm semester break
The Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA), has announced the immediate closure of the institution for a mid-semester break following directives from the Bauchi State Government regarding temporary shutdowns of schools across the state due to security concerns.
The announcement was made after an Emergency Senate Meeting held on Monday, November 24, 2025. In the circular issued by the Registrar, Halima Garba, the university instructed all students to vacate the campus immediately and await further communication on resumption.
During the break, all physical academic activities are suspended. However, the university noted that virtual learning platforms will be made available. Students are advised to use the break period for personal study and preparation for the continuation of the semester and upcoming examinations.
Normal academic activities are expected to resume once an official resumption notice is issued by the university.
