Federal University of Technology, Babura approve academic calendar, 2025/2026

The management of the Federal University of Technology, Babura, Jigawa State, has officially released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement was made through the Office of the Registrar, outlining key academic activities for both the First and Second Semesters.

According to the calendar approved by the university authorities, academic activities for the new session will commence on Monday, 24th November 2025, beginning with the payment of registration fees for all students, including acceptance fees for fresh students

FIRST SEMESTER SCHEDULE

24th–28th November 2025: Payment of registration and acceptance fees (3 weeks)

29th Dec. 2025 – 4th Jan. 2026: Late registration for fresh and returning students (1 week)

5th Jan. – 4th Apr. 2026: First semester lectures (13 weeks)

3rd February 2026: Matriculation of fresh students (1 day)

4th–5th February 2026: Orientation for fresh students (2 days)

6th–11th April 2026: Revision week (1 week)

13th–25th April 2026: First semester examinations (2 weeks)

27th April 2026: Meeting for examination misconduct cases (1 day)

27th Apr.–17th May 2026: First semester break (3 weeks)
