Fisayo Soyombo essay competition, 2024

The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan, is pleased to announce the commencement of the 6th edition of the annual 'FISAYO SOYOMBO ESSAY COMPETITION.'

Objective:
This competition, now in its 6th year, invites solution-focused essays addressing issues of national significance. It is open to all undergraduate students in Nigerian universities.

Essay Topic for 2024:

"BLESSED YET IMPOVERISHED: HOW CAN NIGERIA SOLVE ITS CORRUPTION ISSUES?"

Requirements:

- Word Count: 1500-2000 words

- Format: Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5 Line Spacing.

Prizes:

1. First Place: N250,000

2. Second Place: N150,000

3. Third Place: N100,000

Submission Procedure:

Interested participants should submit their entries via email to [email protected], including the essay and a copy of their school ID in separate PDF files. The subject of the email should be "FISAYO SOYOMBO ESSAY CONTEST."

Deadline for Submission: January 31, 2024
