FUD receives NUC accreditation for Medicine and 18 other programs

The National University Commission, (NUC), in a letter dated April 14, 2022, has granted the Federal University of Dutse full approval for the study of nineteen undergraduate programs.

In a statement issued by the university’s spokesman, Abdullahi Yahaya-Bello, on Saturday in Dutse, April 30 the university received full accreditation for courses in the College of Medicine and five other faculties in the institution.

He listed the accredited programs as Medicine and Surgery, Anatomy Physiology, Agriculture, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, and Taxation.

Others are Linguistics (Arabic), Linguistics (English), Biochemistry, Biology, Environmental Management and Toxicology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Economics, Information Technology, and Software Engineering.
