FUDutse SUG notice to new students coming for registration exercise, 2025/2026

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University Dutse has announced the constitution of a New Students Registration Task Force Committee ahead of the 2025 registration and screening exercise.

According to a statement released on Monday, 1 December 2025, the committee will operate from a centralized point on campus, where newly admitted students will receive guidance, clear instructions, and necessary support for their registration procedures.

The SUG emphasized that all services offered during the registration period are completely free of charge and warned new students not to pay anyone claiming to provide registration assistance.

As part of efforts to support students arriving from distant locations, the SUG has also arranged temporary accommodation for newly admitted students who may arrive in Dutse without an immediate place to stay. The initiative is aimed at preventing students from being stranded and ensuring a safe, convenient environment as they prepare for registration.

The union also issued important advisories, urging students to rely only on verified information from the university or SUG, keep personal belongings secure, avoid giving documents to unauthorized persons, and report any suspicious activities to designated SUG hotlines.

SUG President, Comrade Isah Ibrahim, reaffirmed the union’s commitment to a smooth, safe, and well-coordinated registration process for all new students.
