FUHSA procedure and requirements for intra-university & inter-university transfer

The University Senate at its 8 Regular Meeting held 2nd August, 2023 approved the requirements and procedure for Intra-University (Change of Course) and Inter-University transfer as follows:-

A. PROCEDURE

1. Login to https://applicant.safapply.com/fuhsa and complete the application form for Intra- University (Change of Course) or Inter-University transfer at the rate of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000) only

B. REQUIREMENTS

1. It is subject to availability of vacancy

2. Inter-University Transfer:

i. Candidates must have five (5) relevant 'O' Level credits including Mathematics and English and submit academic transcripts.

ii. Must have passed all previous courses for transfer to 200 level

iii. Get Departmental, Faculty and University acceptance

3. Candidate must have CGPA of 4.00 and above for Bachelor Dental Surgery (BDS) and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).

4. Must have CGPA of 1.50 for Faculty of Allied Health Sciences

5. Get current Departmental, Faculty and University Clearance/Release

6. Must take prerequisite courses from the receiving department (if any)

7. Must regularize transfer/change of course with JAMB and fill Indemnity Form

8. Candidates cannot be transferred more than once

9. Upon approval, pay the appropriate fees (non-refundable) as follows:

i. Change of Course (Intra-University Transfer)

• 250,000

ii. Transfer from Public University within Nigeria

• 350,000

iii. Transfer from Private Universities within Nigeria

• 1,500,000

iv. Transfer from Foreign Universities

• 2,500,000
