FUKashere to hold 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony January 8th

The Federal University of Kashere (FUKASHERE), Gombe State, has announced that its 2025/2026 Academic Session matriculation exercise for newly admitted students will take place on Thursday, 8th January, 2026, by 10:00 a.m. at the University Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall.

The notice, issued by the Office of the Registrar and dated 23rd December, 2025, is directed to all fresh students of the University.

According to the announcement, all newly admitted students are required to complete their registration and documentation at their respective departments and the Admission Office on or before Wednesday, 7th January, 2026, as a mandatory condition for participation in the matriculation ceremony.

The University also stated that all matriculating students must pay the sum of ₦2,000.00 for the hiring of academic gowns and issuance of the matriculation oath form. The payment is to be made through Remita and verified at the Cash Office of the Bursary Department. Students are to present their payment receipts to their respective Faculty Officers before the issuance of academic gowns and oath forms. Collection of gowns and oath forms will commence on Tuesday, 6th January, 2026.

Furthermore, students are required to return the hired academic gowns and the duly completed matriculation oath forms to their Faculty Officers on or before Monday, 12th January, 2026. The University warned that failure to return the academic gown within the stipulated period will attract a penalty of ₦1,000.00 per day.

The notice was signed by Nasir Lawal Abdullahi, Registrar of the Federal University of Kashere, and copied to the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellors (Academics and Administration), University Librarian, Bursar, Deans, Heads of Departments, and other relevant officers.

All fresh students are advised to strictly adhere to the outlined guidelines to ensure smooth participation in the matriculation exercise.
