FULafia announces 14th Matriculation Ceremony for undergraduates

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has officially announced the schedule for its 14th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a memo issued by the Office of the Registrar (Academic Affairs Division) and signed by the Deputy Registrar/Head, Academic Affairs, Mustapha Hanafi-Idiaro, the university community was informed that the ceremony for newly admitted undergraduate students will hold on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

The event is set to take place at the University Sports Complex, Permanent Site Campus, Lafia, and will commence promptly at 10:00 a.m.

According to the notice, distribution of academic gowns to faculty officers will begin on Friday, February 13, 2026, at no cost to the new students. The university also stated that the procession will begin by 8:00 a.m., and only students wearing matriculation gowns will be permitted to participate.

Students and relevant university officials have been advised to make all necessary arrangements ahead of the ceremony to ensure a smooth and successful event.
