FULafia opens IJMB admissions for 2026/2027 Session

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Nasarawa State, through its School of Basic and Remedial Studies, has announced the commencement of the sale of application forms for admission into its Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the announcement, the IJMB programme, which runs for a duration of 12 months, is open to qualified candidates seeking Direct Entry admission into universities. The application form is priced at ₦15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only.

The sale of forms began on 6th April, 2026 and will close on 30th May, 2026. Successful candidates upon completion of the programme will be eligible for Direct Entry admission into universities.

Entry Requirements

To qualify for admission into the IJMB programme, candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings. The required subjects include three basic subjects relevant to the candidate’s course of study, as well as Mathematics and English Language.

Candidates without credit passes in either Mathematics (for Arts students) or English Language (for Science students) may be considered, but not both. However, such candidates must remedy the deficiency within the duration of the programme.
