Binghamton University offers up to $30,000 per year for exceptional first-year students with no separate application required. Binghamton University offers a highly selective and competitive range of scholarships to exceptional incoming undergraduate students. Thanks to a newly endowed $25 million gift from an anonymous family, the university will now award scholarships to 25 new students each year until reaching a total of 100 scholarships in steady state.

Scholarship Criteria: 

The eligibility criteria include:

• Open to incoming first-year undergraduate students.
• All undergraduate applicants are automatically considered.
• Must enroll full-time and maintain a minimum GPA specified for the scholarship.
   
  Scholarship Benefits: 

  The scholarship benefits include:

• Twenty students: $10,000 per year for up to four years.
• Five students: up to the in-state full cost of attendance (approximately $30,000 per year) for up to four years.
• Students may also be awarded President’s, Provost’s, or Dean’s Scholarships, with variable amounts.
