FULOKOJA notice on 14th matriculation ceremony and collection of gown

The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has officially released details for its 14th Matriculation Ceremony for all fresh students admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the University Auditorium located at the College of Health Sciences (COHS) Campus, Lokoja.

In a memorandum signed by Shamaki Nuhu Kaje, FCIA, Senior Deputy Registrar of the Admissions Division, the university urged all fresh students who have not yet completed their registration and payment of school charges to do so on or before Sunday, January 25, 2026, to avoid automatic withdrawal of admission.

Matriculation gowns will be available for collection from Wednesday, January 28, 2026, through respective Departmental Administrative Officers on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are advised to collect their gowns early to avoid missing out.

All matriculating students must:

1. Gather at the COHS ICT car park by 1:30 p.m. for procession to the venue by 2:30 p.m.

2. Ensure they join the procession before it begins — no late joiners will be permitted.

3. Be seated in the hall by 3:30 p.m., after which no entry or exit will be allowed.

4. Wear their official matriculation gowns for admission into the hall.

Gowns must be returned in good condition on or before 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026. A late return fee of ₦5,000 will be imposed on defaulters.
