FUNAAB announces Lecture free day

As a way of encouraging all staff to fully participate in the forthcoming 2023 General Election, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor O. B. Kehinde has approved that Friday, February 24, 2023 be declared a work free day. The essence of the holiday is to enable members of staff who may wish to travel down to their towns and villages outside Abeokuta to exercise their franchise at the Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday, February 25, 2023 to do so.

Work however resumes on Monday, February 27, 2023.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor enjoins all staff participating in the election either as voters or officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission to be law abiding and refrain from any act that can put the name of the University into disrepute during the period. He prays for a peaceful election to elect a new President for Nigeria.
