FUNAAB announces 108th Inaugural lecture

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), would on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, hold its 108th Inaugural Lecture at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building. The lecture is scheduled to commence at 2:00 p.m., with guests expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m.

The Lecture, titled “From Sample to Solution: Harnessing Statistics for Evidence-Based Public Decision-Making in the Data Age,” would be delivered by Prof. Olaniyi Mathew Olayiwola, a Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistics, College of Physical Sciences (COLPHYS).

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, would serve as the Chief Host of the event.
