FUNAAB SUG gives Update on Electricity supply

We are pleased to inform you that power has been restored to the school area after 6 days of outage. We held a meeting with NEPA officials today to address the prolonged power outage.

We want to clarify that the outage was not an intentional act by the IBEDC officials. It was caused by a national generation problem affecting the entire country.

Following our intervention, the technical fault was promptly fixed.

We had to wait at the NEPA office to ensure the restoration process was completed, and I have now received confirmation that electricity has been restored to the school.

The NEPA officials have also assured us that they will immediately begin work on improving the power distribution network in our area to prevent future occurrences of such extended outages.
