FUNATO issues disclaimer on fake recruitment portal

The Management of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO), has drawn the attention of the general public to the activities of fraudsters circulating false information about a purported recruitment exercise through an unknown online portal.

The University wishes to categorically state that FUNATO has not created any recruitment portal and has not commenced any recruitment exercise at this time. Consequently, any calls, messages, online advertisements, or websites claiming to offer employment opportunities on behalf of FUNATO are fake, fraudulent, and not recognized by the University Management.

Members of the public are therefore strongly advised to disregard such misleading information and refrain from submitting applications, personal details, or making any form of payment to individuals or platforms making such claims.

The University emphasizes that any official recruitment exercise, when approved, will be duly announced through recognized and authorized channels of the University.

The public is urged to remain vigilant and properly guided.
