ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Post Graduate Diploma Programmes:(PGD)
- All candidates must have five credits passes including English, Mathematics at the O’Level including all relevant entry requirements as approved by Federal University Otuoke.
- ii) Candidates with Bachelors degree from an approved University must obtain a minimum of Pass in the relevant discipline.
(iii) Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of lower credit may be considered for admission.
(iv) Relevant professional qualifications.
- Master’s Degree Programmes: (M.Sc)
- All candidates must have five credits passes including English, Mathematics at the O’Level including all relevant entry requirements as approved by Federal University Otuoke.
(II) The candidate should have obtained not less than a second-class lower division
(III) Candidates with the relevant PGD at credit level pass (i.e 3.5) will be considered.
- Master’s of Philosophy Degree Programmes: ( MPhil/Ph.D.)
- All candidates must have five credits passes including English, Mathematics at the O’Level and relevant entry requirements specific to each programme as approved by Federal University Otuoke.
- An applicant for admission to the Master of Philosophy Degree Programmes shall
be: A Bachelors degree holder from an approved university who possesses a First Degree and Master Degree in an area relevant to his course of study.
- Doctor of Philosophy Degree Programmes
- All candidates must have five credits passes including English, Mathematics at the O’Level and relevant entry requirements specific to each programme as approved by Federal University Otuoke.
- An applicant for admission to the Ph.D. Degree programme shall be:
A graduate of Federal University, Otuoke, or any other approved university who possesses a Master Degree with research thesis and a weighted coursework average which shall normally not be less than a CGPA of 3.0.
(e) VERY IMPORTANCE NOTICE
In addition to the admission requirements as published, all Candidates should kindly note that in accordance with the University regulations, they must satisfy the O’Level requirements for matriculation into first degree programmes of Federal University, Otuoke, i.e. Five Credit passes in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
In particular, in the Faculty of Management Sciences, an applicant must satisfy the O’level requirement of credit passes in English Language , Mathematics and any other two subjects.
