FUOYE reschedules DETIE Vocational Skills practical training for 100 & 200 level students

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), through its Directorate of Educational Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DETIE), has rescheduled the Vocational Skills Development Practical Sessions for 100 and 200 level students.

According to an internal memorandum dated 10th February 2026 and signed by the Director of DETIE, Mr. Olarewaju P. Ogunjobi, the adjustment became necessary due to a clash between the earlier training dates and the ongoing first semester examinations in some faculties.

The practical training will now hold as follows:

Dates: Wednesday, 25th and Thursday, 26th February, 2026

Time: 8:30 a.m. daily

Venues:

Entrepreneurship Centre, Oye – for students on Oye Campus

Entrepreneurship Centre, Ikole – for students on Ikole Campus

The Directorate emphasized that the practical component of ENT 101 (Introduction to Entrepreneurship) for 100 level students and ENT 211 (Entrepreneurship and Innovation) for 200 level students carries 40% of the total course assessment.

Attendance is compulsory, and failure to participate will attract appropriate academic sanctions in line with university regulations.
