FUTA announces 190th inaugural lecture

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has announced its 190th Inaugural Lecture, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 13th January 2026, at the Obafemi Awolowo Auditorium, FUTA, by 3:00pm.

The lecture, titled “Exquisiteness of Enzymes: Its Economics in its Entrepreneurial Ecosystem,” will be delivered by Prof. Ayodele Oluseyi Kolawole, a Professor of Enzymology and Biophysical Chemistry.

Prof. Kolawole holds B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhD degrees (Akure) and is widely recognized for his contributions to enzymology and applied biochemical research.

The event will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of FUTA, Professor Adenike Temidayo Oladiji, FAS, while the announcement is signed by the Registrar, Mr. C. O. Adeleye.

Members of the university community, the general public, and friends of the institution are cordially invited to attend. Guests are advised to be seated by 2:45pm.
