FUTA Council Extends Tenure of Registrar by 1 Year

Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA council extends the tenure of registrar by one year.

The Council of the Federal University of Technology, Akure has extended the tenure of the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Modupe Ajayi by one year with effect from June 1, 2016. Dr Ajayi was first appointed to the position in June 2011.

The tenure extension, according to the letter signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adebiyi Daramola is in accordance with the provisions of the Universities Act 2012.

While Congratulating the Registrar on what he described as well-deserved extension, the Vice Chancellor said in granting the extension the Council expressed optimism that the Registrar will continue to put in her very best effort to further improve upon the good standard of administration already attained by the University through her proven track record of excellent service delivery.
