FUTA to Host 190th Inaugural Lecture on Enzyme Economics and Entrepreneurship

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Nigeria, has announced its 190th Inaugural Lecture, inviting members of the general public and friends of the university to attend the academic event.

The inaugural lecture, titled β€œExquisiteness of Enzymes: Its Economics in Its Entrepreneurial Ecosystem,” will be delivered by Professor Ayodele Oluseyi Kolawole, a Professor of Enzymology and Biophysical Chemistry at FUTA. Professor Kolawole holds B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD degrees from Akure.

The lecture is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 13th January, 2026, at the Obafemi Awolowo Auditorium, FUTA, by 3:00 pm. Guests are expected to be seated by 2:45 pm.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Adenike Temidayo Oladiji, FAS, will serve as the Chairman of the occasion.

The event is formally signed by the Registrar, Mr. C. O. Adeleye.

The university encourages academics, professionals, students, and the general public to participate in the lecture, which is expected to provide insights into enzyme science, its economic relevance, and entrepreneurial applications.
