FUTMINNA issues directive on collection of Academic gowns for 34th convocation ceremony

This is to inform you that the 34th Convocation Ceremony has been fixed for Sunday, 1st February, 2026 for both Undergraduate and Postgraduates. The Venue is Suleimanu Kumo Convocation Square, Main Campus, Gidan Kwano.

You are to collect the Academic gown for the Convocation from your respective School Secretaries beginning from Monday, 26th January, 2026.

The gown shall be returned to the representative of your respective School at the point of collection of Certificate, beginning from Sunday, 1st February, 2026, after the Convocation ceremony.

Failure to comply with the directive on return of gown at point of collection of Certificate will attract a late submission penalty charge of N2,000.00 per day. Note also that any loss of Academic gown will amount to complete replacement, at the cost of N38,000.00.
