FUTO notice to all newly admitted students

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), has issued an important notice to all recently admitted candidates, requiring them to ensure their programme on the JAMB CAPS portal matches the one offered by the university.

In a memorandum signed by the University Admissions Officer, Professor I. J. Ogoke, the management stipulated that all concerned candidates must take appropriate action on or before Monday, January 19, 2026.

Any candidate admitted into a programme at FUTO that is different from the one currently reflected on their JAMB CAPS profile is mandatorily required to visit the JAMB CAPS portal and effect a change to the programme for which they have been admitted by the university.

Candidates who have been admitted by FUTO but have been unable to print their JAMB admission letter are instructed to visit the University Admissions Office for guidance and assistance.

The memorandum, with reference number FUTO/VC/UAO/GEN.5/II/002, was addressed to the Director of the Information and Communication Technology Centre (ICTC) with a request to publish the notice on the university's official website for widespread awareness.

Admitted candidates are urged to comply with these directives promptly to avoid any complications with their admission and subsequent registration processes.
