FUTO announces resumption for rain semester, 2025/2026

The Registrar of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, hereby notifies all students that the Rain Semester for the 2025/2026 Academic Session is set to officially begin.

In alignment with the previously published 2025/2026 Academic Calendar, school activities will fully commence on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Expected Actions for Students:

• Return to Campus: All students are expected to be back on campus on or before Sunday, April 19, 2026.
• Administrative Formalities: Students should utilize this period to complete their registration and other necessary academic formalities.
• Academic Commencement: Lectures, practicals, and all other academic activities will begin immediately upon resumption.
